Organisation, Responsibility, Globality

The Organisation, Responsibility, Globality (ORG) academic pole focuses its "teaching", "applied research" and "expertise" roles on the creation and development of companies and economic activity.

The pole is both a resource and a driving force in its areas of competence, and it also aims to foster cooperation between the world of research and higher education, companies and institutions, at local, regional and national levels.

The pole’s identity, as can be seen from its title, is based on three concepts which structure its work:

• Organisation, defining every company as they design strategies to create and manage the value chain, where men and management are the basic resource
• Responsibility, while the company has to be accountable to its shareholders and investors, the societal and/or environmental impact of its activities goes beyond its status as an economic agent, calling on its citizenship
• Globality, since in order to be both efficient and citizen-based, entrepreneurial decision making analysis (cross- and multi- or trans- disciplinary) must go beyond the simple consideration of accounting or financial monitoring indicators
