Having first viewed the Internet channel as a separate activity, usually creating a subsidiary and sometimes using a different name from the company banner, distributors are now going multi-channel the idea being to bring additional services to clients and to encourage loyalty.
Created in 2001 in partnership with Auchan, the 1st BEM Chair, this retail sector management Chair is changing and from January 2008 it will take on new directions for teaching and research: e-commerce and multi-channel distribution.
The e-commerce and retail Chair is therefore the result of several years collaboration between BEM and our partner companies. It provides unique scope for research and significant pre-professional experience for the students
