A socially responsible mode of governance
Under the supervision of the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BEM has set up a mode of governance which enables us to share the school’s projects with all our partners.
A Board of Directors as governing body
This mode of governance is seen as being socially responsible : the Board of Directors takes on the following roles:
- involvement in decision-making for all our “stakeholders” - students, professors, graduates, client companies, partners and sponsors. In this way, all groups can be sure that their best interests are always taken into consideration
- contacts with all those who contribute to the School’s financial stability
- ability to apply pressure in political and economic decision-making when necessary to assist the School’s international development
The Board of Directors is chaired by François Auque, CEO of EADS SPACE, European leader in the space and civil defence industry.
A sharing strategy
The aim of BEM is to pass on knowledge, know-how, well-being, and also qualities such as a sense of responsibility and ethical values.
We also aim to:
- create value for all of our stakeholders
- contribute to advancing the frontiers of knowledge, mainly in managerial practices in business sciences, through the intellectual contributions of our professors
- create a favourable context in which to achieve this
