Associations

Thanks to the dynamism of our students and the associations, over 200 projects are carried out each year.
These projects may be on a large scale or quite simple, but they can only succeed thanks to the support we receive from our partner companies and institutions.

Associations are an important part of a business school course. They enable every student to discover a new passion, to organise events that mean a lot, to meet other students from different programmes, and in particular to learn to work professionally through exciting projects.

Associations can be grouped into six areas of activity

In 2007-08 BEM had 29 associations grouped into six categories:

  • student committees
  • communication
  • culture and leisure
  • economics & international
  • humanitarian & ecology
  • sport

The Board of Directors coordinates the activities of the associations

The associations are organised around the Board of Directors. This consists of a president, a vice-president, one member responsible for company relations and one responsible for accounts. They supervise the distribution of grants awarded by the School, coordinate activities, ensure the professionalism of all the associations and that relations are harmonious.

The Board of Directors is the go-between for the associations with the School administration, represented by Vincent Beurrier.

A wealth of variety in BEM associations

An associations portal is under construction by a team of students. This will give an overview of all the associations, with a specific presentation for each one, whether or not they have their own website.
