Careers

The great diversity of openings available after the EBP programme is due to the general and international vocation of programme

A general vocation

The very particular nature of the programme is clear from the variety of sectors of activity in which graduates find employment (industry, BTP, services, banks, local government,…), the size of companies (multinationals, SME, independent sector), and the wide range of positions held.

A 2006 survey of 2,292 EBP graduates shows that at the end of the course, the careers they had taken up were very varied:

  • 38% were in jobs associated with the "market" (sales, marketing, import, export, advertising,…)
  • 38% were in the financial sector (auditing, accounting, management control, finance, banking,…)
  • 13% were in administration or support roles (Human resource management, purchasing, general administration,…)
  • and 11% had chosen careers less closely related to companies (teaching, civil servants, associations managers).

An international vocation

The international scope of the programme can be seen from the high numbers of graduates working abroad.

  • 70% of graduates are working outside France. (29% in Europe, 16% in Asia, 14% in America, 9% in Africa, 2% in Oceania).
  • Of the 30% of graduates working in France, 98% say that they appreciate on a daily basis the international dimension of the skills they developed during their course.

EBP prepares students for supervisory and managerial posts (commerce, business, management) such as:

  • export manager
  • profit centre director
  • product manager
  • administrative and financial manager,...
