Internship and employment

Main information about internship

Internship is to be taken after completion of the formal teaching part of the program. That means that students are free to start their internship as of mid-June or later.

The prescribed duration of the Internship is no less than 5 months, no more than 1 year, and ideally 6 months. After that, students are entitled to formally present their Memoir in front of a jury.

French students must take their internship, totally or partly, outside France. If they take it in France, it will be compulsorily in a function or activities which definitely include an international dimension. In this case, it will be up to the supervising Faculty to decide on whether the international dimension really exists or not.

Non-French students can take their internship in their home country, if necessary, although it is preferable that they take it in France or Europe.

For both French or non-French students, internships can be replaced by a first job (new job or previous job), provided the job also includes an international dimension.

In any case, MACI cannot guarantee to provide internships to students. Students can apply to the Career Center Department.
