Gordon Crichton, Directeur du Programme MAI / Director of the Specialised Master in International Purchasing Management

The free market economy today makes it imperative that the professional world improve its competitive capability. This involves integrating new concepts and new organisational methods.

The purchasing manager must be able to exploit major international markets for new supplier countries, but at the same time be aware of the risks involved.

He must also develop structures within a company. He occupies a key post which helps companies build organisations and structures that are appropriate to the new strategies.

MAI develops the management abilities of its students, helping them integrate the strategic and technical aspects of this career. The programme trains them to become purchasing managers, able to analyse, communicate and negotiate, and ready to decide on the strategy to be adopted in a constantly changing international context.

Gordon Crichton
MAI Programme Director

MAI offers different curricula: a full-time course, executive education leading to a diploma in Paris and Bordeaux and a diploma course alternating between Paris and Bordeaux.
