Risk Management - IMR
IMR is a 2-year programme for students with Baccalauréat +3 years of higher education (Bachelor level) via the MIM - Master in Management.
IMR is also accessible to students with Baccalauréat +4 / +5 years in 1 year
The end of the twentieth century was marked by some tremendous upheavals, especially in terms of economics. Financial liberalisation in the1980s, the emergence of new information and communication technologies and also the acceleration of the globalisation process mean that companies today are confronted with a great many types of risk (competition, production, financial, etc.) which it is essential to manage when confronted with the demands of competition. The September 11 attacks and the succession of natural catastrophes that we witnessed at the beginning of this new century only serve to reinforce this fact.
Since 1989, the Masters in Risk Management, one of the specialised Masters programmes at BEM, has trained the future managers of such companies. This is a specialised course (identification, management and financing of risks), with a variety of teaching methods (taught courses, group study projects, site visits, etc.). Courses are given by BEM faculty and to complement this there are also speakers from companies, which means that the training our students receive will enable them to be operational and meet the challenge of risk management.
