Teaching areas

Our aim is to train managers to be immediately operational in a company, having acquired a knowledge of the basic principles of management, an awareness of the wine-growing and production environment, and of product-related skills.

  • Module 1: Knowledge of the product and the production process – 5 credits
  • Module 2: Marketing - sales – 10 credits, 30% taught courses
  • Module 3: Management and organisational behaviour – 4 credits
  • Module 4: Strategic management– 3 credits
  • Module 5: Financial analysis – 3 credits
  • Module 6: Purchasing and supply chain – 2 credits
  • Module 7: Economics of Wines and Spirits – 4 credits
  • Module 8: Wine law – 4 credits
  • Module 9: Business English – 2 credits
  • Module 10: Cross-sector project – 8 credits
  • Professional thesis: 30 credits
  • Site visits: vineyards, producers, wine merchants, distributors, etc.

Teaching includes case studies and projects, individual and group work.
