The research team of the BEM departmental chair for Operations and Supply Chain Management focuses on the multifunctional context (purchasing, production and distribution of products and services) and multi-decisional aspects (from very short term to strategic operational decisions) of supply chains. The team's main objective is to develop organisational, management and decision-support methodologies for monitoring the trends of both theory and practice in supply chain management and to enhance the long-standing reputation (both national and global) of BEM in this field.
