Studies are mainly focused on the following areas: wine marketing, wine economics, financial management in the wine sector, supply chain management in the wines and spirits sector, e-commerce, social aspects of the wine industry (wine and tourism, wine and emotion, wines and sustainable development - challenges of organic wine production).
Theoretical and applied research is undertaken at both market and industry/chain level (organisation, level of concentration, distribution channels, investors, etc.), as well as at company level (marketing, organisation, consumer behaviour, speculation, etc.).
Our team works in active collaboration with many local businesses, contributes to several research networks in France and in Aquitaine, and takes part in national and international calls to tenders.
The agreement signed with the University of Bordeaux, ENITAB and the Institut des Sciences de la Vigne et du Vin (ISVV) of Bordeaux-Aquitaine enables us to deliver world-class research production in these fields.
